good vs. bad

i bought a load of backdated vogues and ELLEs yesterday for 25p each from a charity shop and a load of seahorses to decorate the bathroom with. i keep adding things to my mental wishlist, things i 'want want want', things i 'need need need', i hope this does not make me materialistic, i never end up buying most of these things anyway so i suppose it is just fantasizing.

i had such weird dreams last night where i was pet-sitting for someone and their pets were 100's of tropical fish and tiny crocodiles the size of lizards? the dream may or may not have been influenced by the monsoon like rainstorms that were happening outside my still-curtain-less windows. the road outside our house looked more like a river than a road. i considered going to play outside in the warm/wet paradise but lightening and thunder provoke a real, child-like fear within me that usually prevents sleep and increases heart-rate!
